Responsible for all research requirements across both B2B and B2C audiences as well as providing insight & analysis to strengthen commercial propositions to variety of advertisers across sectors Research responsibilities cover new product development, PR, thought leadership, claims validation, competitor understanding, website and mobile usability studies Manage a number of tracking studies ranging from customer satisfaction, brand tracking, consumer confidence to website usability Initiated an extensive study into new car purchase behaviour encompassing behavioural tracking and attitudinal research to support Auto Trader's display advertising strategy Regularly present to key customers including key relationships at Car Manufacturer Head Offices, Media Agencies and Franchised Dealer Groups utilising innovative techniques to bring insight to life Instigated and ran one of the largest automotive surveys in the UK to underpin the Auto Trader Click Awards for our 100 key accounts. This awarded digital excellence to some of the UK's leading automotive brands covering social media, SEO and mobile awards with the judging including input from brands such as Google, Nokia and Twitter Established a new roster of research agencies and manage the relationships with these for quant & qual projects consistently delivered on time and on/under budget Manage a B2C panel with this brought in house leading to substantial cost savings and up-skilling in the research team to cover questionnaire design and scripting and analysis Manage a team of analysts and researchers, re-defining all roles and responsibilities through a period of extensive business change
